Beyond research
I grew up in Huế, in central Vietnam, studied in Toulouse, and now spend the year between France and Singapore. Three cities with very little in common, which turns out to be the interesting part.
What follows is the non-thesis half of the week.
Film
I watch a lot of films, and I like the ones that take their time. A good excuse to keep practising all three of my languages.
Football & racket sports
Football whenever there are enough people, badminton and tennis when there are not. A reliable way to meet people in a new city.
Languages
Vietnamese (native), French (fluent), English (professional). Most of my research happens in a mix of all three, often in the same meeting.
